Been working on another flavor of wat tambor, I’m pretty set on using him as my main leader for set 3! He comes out early has a huge body and you can hit some CRAZY numbers with any unit you have out.
Here we have wat and his techno union army invading jedha city on his quest for the sacred eye of the albino cyclops… early on I played with petranaki arena but I wasn’t really finding a bigger wat as worth as jedha city. With jedhas epic action we can safely get rid of any tanks early on while keeping our battle droids around to be able to exploit later. I also like yellow as a secondary color for him because there’s a few great tricky plays revolving around exploit and NTATOT. Poggle and droid deployment are our MVP starts here, and from there you can either cheat in a super battle droid or tactical droid commander, or if we started with droid deployment we can sac a droid, exploit in the geonosian fighters or the infiltrating demolisher, and bounce their turn one while buffing our remaining B1! So much bonus damage gets pushed out by running both surprise strike AND breaking in at 3 copies each. This is a very fun version and I might even have more fun with this than the double green. Not sure where to start for sideboarding yet, will need more testing!
