Put together this deck based on the cards I currently have available (I’m new to the TCG/CCG scene). Goal is to ramp quickly to 8 resources to deploy Palpatine, while also providing some control in the start with the force units and event cards (and to deal with pesky early leaders). Traitorous is reserved more for opposing green decks to claim their Superlaser Technicians (DJ Death Star) and early yellow/red units. Motti also provides great combos with Palpatine’s ability: attack with a strong unit, next use Palp’s ability/attack with Palp and defeat Motti, then re-ready the strong unit I attacked with first. I used a standard red base to get use to the play style, but think I’ll add in Tarkintown soon.
Ideally, I’d add in two more Emperor’s Royal Guards and sideboard the two Traitorous cards. Vader would be nice, but trying to keep this budget(ish) friendly.
Overall, I have a lot of fun playing this deck!
